Capture This Stage Of Life Before It Slips Away
I help busy parents capture their family's story before these years are gone

If you keep waiting for the 'perfect time,' you'll blink and your kids will be grown
When you capture these years intentionally, you create something your family will treasure for generations
Hi, I am Itala.

I don't just care about beautiful photos.
I care about preserving the moments that matter before they're gone.

With 15+ years as a photographer and as a mom myself, I understand what these years mean.
My approach
My photography sessions offer a natural and light approach, creating a dreamy and timeless look. I avoid props or posing too much, and focus on capturing your family just as they are.
With nature as our backdrop, we focus on your love and connection.
I focus on real moments: belly laughs, messy curls, the way your child looks at you when they think no one’s watching. Although we can do some poses, my focus is to capture your family as you are... in a season you’ll never get back.
Sessions with me are calm and relaxed, especially for little ones. I follow your child’s lead, gently guide you through the session, and make sure you feel comfortable and connected. Think of it like spending time with a trusted auntie who just happens to have a camera in hand.
If you value authenticity over perfection and want photos that bring you back to a feeling, not just a day… I’d love to work with you!
Limited Availability: I shoot only on select weekends from May to October, and spots fill fast!

HOW IT WORKS

We plan together
We'll talk through what matters most to you: favorite locations, your kids' personalities, what you hope to capture. This is about your family's story, not a rigid shot list.
A relaxed session on your timeline
Kids don't perform on command, and that's okay. I work around nap times, snack breaks, and bursts of energy. We capture real moments, not forced smiles.
You choose what you love
After the session, you'll select your favorites from a curated gallery. No overwhelm, just the images that feel like your family.
Delivered with care
Whether you want prints for your walls, an album to pass down, or digital files to share, I'll help you create something lasting.

FAQ
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR PHOTOS?
Golden hour (just before sunset) gives us that dreamy, soft light but I also offer early morning sessions for families with young kids who thrive earlier in the day. We’ll choose a time that works best for your family’s rhythm, even if it's not early morning or sunset time.
ARE THE TRAVEL EXPENSES INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?
Yes, up to 30 miles of Bellingham, MA
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
You’ll get a simple styling guide after booking with ideas for colors, textures, and tips for dressing everyone without overthinking it. You don’t need to buy new outfits. I’ll help you build a beautiful, cohesive look from what you already have.
WHAT IF MY KIDS DON’T BEHAVE?
That’s completely normal. I expect movement, snack requests, and a little chaos. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, and I come prepared with tricks, bubbles, and a calm voice. The best photos usually come when we let go of perfection and focus on connection. Your job is to be present with your family. I’ll handle the rest.
WHAT IF WE’RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
Most people feel that way! I’ll guide you gently with natural prompts so you’re never wondering what to do. I don’t want stiff poses, I want you laughing, hugging, snuggling, and being you. My job is to capture what it feels like to be your family in this season.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO PREP THE KIDS FOR THE SESSION?
Keep it light! Let them know you’re going to meet a friend who will take some fun pictures while you all hang out as a family. There’s no need to tell them to smile or behave perfectly; in fact, it helps when we let go of that pressure. I’ll gently guide things during the session, and kids respond so much better when they feel like it’s playtime, not performance time.
WHAT IF WE DON’T LOOK PERFECT?
Good news! You’re not supposed to. This isn’t about matching outfits or Pinterest poses. This is about love, connection, and the moments in between. The way your child wraps their arms around your neck, or the way you all burst out laughing at something silly… that’s what you’ll want to remember. Focus on being present. I’ll take care of the rest.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD ON THE DAY OF OUR PHOTO SESSION?
Sessions are usually on Saturdays, so if we have a bad weather, the next day would be the rain date.
WHAT IF MY CHILD WAKES UP SICK THAT DAY?
We’ll reschedule. Life with little ones is unpredictable, and I build in flexibility for this exact reason. The goal is to capture joy, not force it.
WHAT SHOULD WE DO THE DAY OF THE SESSION?
Keep things simple. Have clothes ready early, leave extra time to get out the door, and try to avoid rushing. Feed the kids beforehand and bring a snack if needed. This is not a day to enforce strict rules; being a bit more flexible than usual actually helps everything flow more easily. I’ll lead with calm energy, and your kids will feel that too.
